Getting involved
The carnival is run entirely by volunteers, and the Association's committee would like to hear from you if you want to get involved. The level of involvement is up to you; the tasks that happen around the day of the carnival itself include
- helping set up before the event. This involves setting up fencing, marking out pitches for outside stall holders and putting up tables in the marquee. It usually takes place on the Friday (all day) and the Saturday morning of the carnival.
- helping on the day. This includes directing stall holders to their pitch, more fencing, stewarding (both on the field and in the road parade).
- clearing up afterwards. Taking down the fencing, clearing away litter - there's a lot to do!

If you have useful contacts within the community for resources or funding, or ideas for making the carnival even better, then please contact the chairman or any of the others on the Contacts page.
