About us
The Long Eaton Carnival Committee was reconstituted in January 2003 as the Long Eaton Community Carnival Association as an initiative of the Long Eaton Churches Fellowship, who were keen to encourage a feeling of community in Long Eaton.
The primary objective of the association is "to involve all sections of the community in engendering community spirit by organising an annual carnival and associated events" (according to the Association's constitution).
It is made up of volunteers from a broad cross-section of members of the local community.
